SYNOPSIS/STRESZCZENIE
Franz, a Kopist in the Viennese art-historical museum, has to fight increasingly with the value loss and ever more strongly the capitalization of its surrounding field seizing around itself. It lives separately from woman and daughter. Its work and the Auseindandersetzung with the famous paintings exert enormous influence on it: It develops an increasing sensitivity for conflicts hidden in the everyday life.

As Franz from its daughter grows the pressure is kept away. Also the meeting with Mathilde, a supermarket employee, whom it becomes acquainted with in the museum, cannot prevent the increasing disconcertion and rage any longer. The picture worlds urge substantial and with full force into the reality. Franz does not resist, but it looks in such a way as he fully and completely into its imagination would dive.

Franz feels the apparently banal changes in its environment increasingly as personal threat and destruction of its environment: A running engine with a parked motorbus, the Zusperren of its familiar delicatessen store in its environment, the increase of advertisement poster surfaces in its road.

Franz reacts. An escalation of conflicts is the result. Finally it pursued of the authorities as criminals...
