Warsaw, June 13 (AP) -- Polish stage and screen actress Elżbieta Czyżewska was married today to David Halberstam, Warsaw correspondent of the New York Times.

The wedding, originally scheduled for April 25, had been postponed because of a new Polish law requiring a 30-day waiting period.

The wedding took place in a civil ceremony at the Warsaw Marriage Bureau.

After the ceremony, the bride hurried to a sports stadium to accept the 1965 Golden Mask Award as Poland's most popular television actress.
